As someone who grew up in Dubai, I know that there are so many new spots to discover but I’m quite picky about what makes a place worth coming back to and recommending. Perfect for a beautiful date night, Rialto is an Italian restaurant located in the Marsa Al Arab Hotel that has quickly become one of my favorites. The Ossobuco alla Milanese is a standout, along with the lobster pasta, which is perfect for sharing. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with an elegant atmosphere that feels intimate without being overly formal.

One of my favourite beach clubs on the Palm. The music is always great, the pool is spacious, and it’s the perfect spot for a day of tanning and relaxing. Their Greek restaurant is also genuinely delicious — my go-to order is the burrata and taramosalata with warm pita.

In my opinion, Attiko is one of the best spots for sushi in Dubai. Located on the rooftop of the W Mina Seyahi, it pairs an incredible food selection with beautiful views over Dubai Harbour. I’ve tried most of the menu at this point, and I genuinely haven’t had a disappointing dish. My must-orders are the bluefin tuna carpaccio, crispy rice with salmon tartare, lobster buns, and o-toro sashimi. It’s especially good for a later date night, with live DJs, an indoor-outdoor seating and panoramic views that make the whole experience feel a little more special.

There are several Brunch & Cake locations around Dubai, but the Wasl 51 is definitely the cutest in my opinion. It’s such a nice spot for breakfast or a relaxed brunch, with generous portions and dishes that are always beautifully presented. All of the Eggs Benedict options are delicious, and of course, you can’t go to Brunch & Cake without ordering the pancakes.

Be prepared for a bit of a wait since don’t take reservations, so tables are first come first serve but the steak and generous portions make it well worth it. The concept is refreshingly simple, with quality cuts served alongside salad, your choice of sauce, and unlimited fries. The outdoor terrace also has a great view of the Burj Khalifa.
