The canal district turned over to a dense, mostly modern dining scene. The verified Business Bay restaurants, our highest-rated first.
Business Bay flipped from a grid of towers and cranes into one of Dubai's busiest dining districts almost overnight. The canal-side promenade and the ground floors of the office blocks now hold a tight, mostly modern set of restaurants built for the people who live and work in the towers above them, which means most of them comfortably double as a bar after the plates clear.
The standouts skew contemporary: Girl & the Goose for Central American, The Banc for its Mediterrasian crossover, Revolver for open-fire Indian, China Tang for refined Cantonese and TakaHisa for wagyu and sushi. Couqley and Le Relais de l'Entrecôte cover the French steak-frites craving. Every venue below is a Business Bay room we've confirmed is live, ordered by rating.
Every venue here is live in our index right now. Open one for its full menu, hours and a table.

The Marasi canal promenade is the walkable heart of it, and a good chunk of this list sits along or just off the water. Valet is the easy option at the tower addresses, and most kitchens are quieter at lunch and busy at night, when the district's restaurant-bars get going.
Plenty of these rooms run a DJ and a late licence, so a Thursday or Friday dinner can roll straight into drinks at the same table. If you want a calmer meal, aim for earlier in the week or a lunch booking.
Our live ratings put Jones Social, Girl & the Goose and The Banc at the top, with Revolver, TakaHisa and Couqley close behind. The full ranked list above is pulled live, so it always shows what's open and rated now.
The Banc and Soirée handle a stylish dinner well, Revolver's open-fire Indian is a memorable one, and China Tang brings refined Cantonese with marina and Burj views. All sit at the mid-to-high tier and are worth booking at the weekend.
A lot of them. Jones Social, The Banc, Soirée and Soul Kitchen all run a proper bar and music programme, so dinner can roll into late-night drinks without changing venue. Check our Best Bars in Business Bay guide for the full nightlife set.
Yes. Couqley keeps its French brasserie plates reasonable, and several of the canal-side spots are mid-range rather than fine dining. Lunch is the better-value window across the district.
For weekend dinners, yes, particularly the rooms that double as nightlife. Midweek and at lunch you can often walk in, but the canal-view tables go first, so a reservation helps.
